Coleman & Hoffman Halls are accredited with the American Correctional Association (ACA) scoring a rating of 100% on mandatory and non-mandatory standards.
The Joseph E. Coleman Education and Treatment Center, known as Coleman Hall, provides community corrections services to residents referred by the Pennsylvania Department of Corrections, the Pennsylvania Board of Probation and Parole and Bucks County Department of Corrections. Work Release residents and Technical Parole Violators make up the population at Coleman Hall.
Coleman Hall is designed to focus on substance abuse education and changing criminal behaviors. Treatment is delivered in a structured, safe and secure environment and is comprised of multiple phases along a continuum of care. All treatment incorporates social learning and cognitive-behavioral principles designed to promote a prosocial lifestyle with an emphasis on individual accountability, responsibility and self-reliance. Our services also include comprehensive assessment, individual and group counseling, life skills training, family services, community service, educational and vocational opportunities, employment placement and aftercare.
- Tranquility and Harmony Units (Parole Violators) – Last name beginning with A thru M: Saturdays 1:00 pm thru 2:30 pm. Last name beginning with N thru Z Saturdays 2:45 pm-4:15 pm
- Serenity Unit (Work Release) – Sundays: 2:15 pm-4:00 pm
* All Visitors are expected to arrive for registration 30 minutes prior to the beginning of the visitation period, for example arriving 11:30 am for 12:00 pm visit.
Alphabet shown above pertains to the Last Name of the person you are visiting, for example PV resident John Doe would be Saturday from 12:00 pm to 1:30 pm.
All infants and childrens’ parents must present a Birth Certificate. The children are searched in front of the parents, shoes off, pockets turned inside out. All must clear a metal detector. The infants are searched in the Ladies room where there is an infant changing station. Diaper changes are allowed. Bootie socks are checked as well as all clothing. The mother can bring a diaper, bottle and one Toy. No bags are allowed into the visit room.

Coleman Hall Drop-Off Policy:
-Wednesday (4 pm-8 pm) & Friday (4 pm-8 pm). One Drop-off per week.
-Exception: Residents can have a drop-off within the first 72 hrs. of their arrival (Often Referred to as an “Emergency Drop-Off”)
