COUNSELOR

QUALIFICATIONS and SKILLS:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• One year experience in substance abuse treatment (undergraduate degree may be substituted for experience)
• Independent Self starter with leadership ability
• Good written and verbal communication skills

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Candidate’s specific duties include but are not limited to:

• Maintaining order in the facility
• Reporting to Supervisor
• Taking scheduled counts of residents and preparing appropriate reports
• Receiving and discharging residents as required
• Conducting daily inspections and searches
• Supervising resident movement
• Transporting residents as needed
• Supervising urine drug testing
• Performing clinical duties as assigned
• Enforcing rules and regulations
