The Joseph E. Coleman Center provides residential treatment and work release services to residents referred by the Pennsylvania Department of Corrections and the Pennsylvania Board of Probation and Parole. Community Education Centers converted an 80,000 square foot warehouse into a state-of-the-art, 300-bed treatment facility, which opened in November 2001.

The residential programs at the facility focus on Substance Abuse Treatment and Education, Life-Skills, Employment and Community Reintegration. In addition, program participants undergo a comprehensive battery of assessments designed to develop an Individual Treatment Program for each offender.
