Community
Education Centers (CEC) is committed to providing safe and effective treatment
programs for adult and juvenile social services and criminal justice populations
throughout the United States. To help ensure the highest quality of these
services, CEC participates in research studies of its programs and maintains
relationships with professionals in the field of psychology, research
and criminal justice. Our ultimate goal is to use the results of outcome
studies to continually improve our services.
Community Education Centers is affiliated with Penn State University and
Drexel University and is currently in the process of compiling joint research
papers in order to evaluate the effectiveness of community corrections
programs and CEC programs.
Initiatives are also under way with the New Jersey Department of Corrections,
Hahnemann University, Penn State and Brigham Young University to evaluate
the short- and longer-term impact of CEC�s interventions on individuals
in the criminal justice system.
CEC�s research efforts are coordinated by Dr. Robert Mackey, PhD, Chief
Operating Officer of CEC. Below is a list of professionals affiliated
