Dr. Ralph Fretz

Dr. Ralph Fretz is the Director of Assessment for Community Education Centers.� After earning his M.S.W. from Columbia University in 1982, Dr. Fretz supervised an adolescent day treatment center. He has also worked as the supervisor of�an outpatient mental health clinic.� In 1998, Dr. Fretz earned his Ph.D. from Seton Hall School of Professional Psychology.� His dissertation was selected for the Distinguished Dissertation Award.� Dr. Fretz has worked with a variety of population including children, juvenile and adult offenders, psychiatric inpatients and sex offenders.� His areas of interest include outcome research and family interactions in high conflict families.

Dr. Fretz�s work has been published in corrections journals, including Corrections Today and Best Practices.� He was the co-author of a manual for a nationally used risk assessment instrument and has given presentations on a variety of topics, including the development of Assessment Centers and family therapy techniques.
