Wyoming - Community Alternatives of Casper

Community Alternatives of Casper
10081 W. Landmark Lane, Casper, Wyoming

Community Alternatives of Casper has been in operation since October of 1985. The program provides residential and non-residential services to adult male and female offenders. The current residential capacity is 180. It has four separate residential facilities, 3 for men and, in 1998, opened a new, self-contained facility for female participants. This community corrections program provides a highly structured environment that promotes individual responsibility and self-development while preparing individuals for independent living. Each residential participant is required to seek and maintain meaningful employment. All residents are additionally required to perform community service or extra chores that contribute to the welfare of the community or of the facility.

The program utilizes local community resources, which provide continued treatment and supervision following release from the program.
