Joint Commission Awards Accreditation to Lipman Hall
The evaluation process involved the review of documents such as reports on performance improvement activities and reports to clinical staff; interviews with key CEC and Lipman Hall managers, and; visits to treatment settings, including housing units.
“Lipman Hall received an outstanding evaluation, based on its compliance with 800 standards of care,” said Ms. Riordan. “The team effort and hard work on the part of Lipman Hall and corporate staff members played a vital role in our success,” said Ms. Riordan.
“Achieving accreditation reflects the commitment of our staff, at all levels,” said John J. Clancy, President and CEO of Community Education Centers. Further, “Achieving accreditation also demonstrates CEC’s commitment to quality and safety. CEC’s goal is to continually strive to improve the care and services we provide to individuals,” added Mr. Clancy.
Founded in 1951, the Joint Commission is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to continuously improving the safety and quality of the nation’s health care through voluntary accreditation.
