Otter Brook Center

The Otter Brook Center, a 14-building, 50-acre campus, opened in January 1999. It has the capacity to house and provide treatment to 80 adolescent males. The program is designed for 13 to 17 year old males who are involved in the criminal justice or corrections systems and who have a need for residential treatment.

Successful treatment of adolescents requires attention to developmental needs, a focus on family treatment, as well as the integration of individualized educational services. Here, a psychosocial model is balanced with a 12-step approach and the use of experiential education strategies. Teens are provided with a structured, limit-setting environment in a caring community.
