Community Alternatives of Sweetwater County
35 Wilkins Peak Drive, Rock Springs, Wyoming

Community Alternatives of Sweetwater County was established in October of 1990 with a 52-bed community corrections program that provides comprehensive residential and non-residential services to male and female offenders. It also provides work release, transitional treatment and educational services.

The participants referred for services are either near release, eligible for parole, or require supervision beyond the scope of traditional probation. This community corrections program provides a highly structured environment that promotes individual responsibility and self-development while preparing individuals for independent living. The program utilizes local community resources that provide a transition between work-release and community living, and allows for continued treatment and supervision following release from the program.
