Health Care Services


The focus of CEC’s Health Care Services department is on developing processes and maintaining systems that provide quality individualized medical services. The medical treatment model in practice operates in accordance with the National Commission on Correctional Health Care (NCCHC) and American Correctional Association (ACA) accreditation standards. The company has been dealing with large correctional populations since 1994.

Comprehensive medical services includes, physicians and physician extenders, nursing and ancillary medical personnel, on-site dental, pharmacy, mental health services, diagnostics, emergency and hospital services. This is accomplished through identified goals and objectives specific to CEC's medical mission. This mission aims to improve health care quality and access by providing diverse on-site services rendered by experienced medical, mental health, dental, and nursing professionals. All staff is committed to delivering services with integrity, respect, and a commitment to working efficiently and collaboratively within the particular correctional setting.

CEC recognizes and responds to the many varied challenges of health care needs of the populations served in reentry and secure correctional settings. CEC strives to provide customized, high quality and professional medical services with individualized focus, personal attention and responsiveness while working within the constraints of the correctional facilities. Our accomplishments are highlighted by the ongoing positive feedback received from our patients.
