Mary Rose Worthington, MS, CCBT, CCJP, CCDP Community Education Center’s (CEC) Southeast Regional Director, is an experienced administrator, therapist and educator providing professional management, treatment and criminal justice services for over 30 years. Ms. Worthington has extensive experience in private sector behavioral health administration and licensing, corrections and prison operations, management, employee relations, union negotiations, public-private liaison work, and contract oversight. As a licensed therapist specializing in addictions and certified in forensic counseling utilizing cognitive behavioral interventions, she has detailed clinical knowledge of issues involved in the delivery of substance abuse and dual diagnosed treatment services to the offender population. Ms. Worthington has held adjunct professorships in the fields of Criminal Justice and the Social Sciences at a Pennsylvania University and Community College. In her 12 years at CEC, formally CiviGenics, Ms. Worthington has served as Juvenile Justice Director, Director Non-Profit Management Division, Director of PA Operations and Regional Director. Her educational degrees include a MS in Counseling and Human Relations Villanova University, PA and a BS Secondary Education Social Studies, West Chester University, PA.
