Esther Smith was appointed the Director of Tooley Hall in March 2005. Ms. Smith has worked in community corrections since 1998 and has worked primary with the male population until her appointment at Tooley Hall. Ms. Smith has a degree in Social Work and Psychology.

Visitation Schedule
Visiting is allowed at Tooley Hall Sundays through Saturdays via a Special Visit Request, which is approved via the treatment team. Times of the visits are determined at this time to ensure that there is adequate staff present to monitor the visit. The visits are approved for 1 to 2 hours.
Prior to the visitor being allowed to visit a resident they are required to attend a Family Orientation meeting with the Program Director to discuss the rules and goal of the program.

Community Relations
Tooley Hall staff maintain monthly attendance at the Greater Park Hill Community meeting, Denver City and County Community Corrections Directors meeting, and Colorado Community Corrections Coalition. In addition, staff attend weekly meeting with the Resident Council for volunteer projects and maintain frequent contacts with local employers of the residents. Staff also attend the Denver Crime Prevention and Control Commission as a community representative on a monthly basis.
