Roseland, NJ,
May 17 -
A longtime volunteer at Liberty Hall, Silouan Green, was featured on the Indiana television channel, WISHTV. The news segment focused on Mr. Green’s inspirational work at Liberty Hall, Community Education Centers’s Indiana-based work release program.
“Mr. Green contributions as a volunteer are very beneficial to furthering the mission of Liberty Hall. With volunteers such as Mr. Green, CEC looks forward to reducing recidivism in the State of Indiana,” said Michelle Ryder, Director of Liberty Hall.
Mr. Green presents popular weekly motivational group lectures to residents. He has also penned a book, “Learning to Fly” that is well-read among Liberty Hall residents for its encouraging and positive message. This fall, Mr. Green will be the keynote speaker at Indiana’s Correctional Conference.
Liberty Hall opened in November 2001 as Indiana’s first Technical Rule Violation (TRV) Center. The facility currently provides work release services for 200 residents referred by the Indiana Department of Corrections.
