Roseland, NJ, Aug 28 - Community Education Centers, Inc. (CEC) was awarded a contract to operate the 163-bed Parker County Jail in Weatherford, Texas. Under the terms of the contract, CEC is currently expanding the facility to 486-beds to meet the needs of Parker County.

The five-year contract to operate the Parker County Jail will begin on October 1, 2007. CEC’s National Secure Facilities Division now operates 15 jail/detention management contracts in four states—Texas, Ohio, Arizona, and Montana.
