West Caldwell, NJ, Nov 20 - The Delaware County Board of Prison Inspectors approved the contract for CEC’s management of the 1800-bed Delaware County prison. CEC will begin management of the facility on January 1, 2009. Frank Green, former assistant superintendant at the facility, has been named the warden and will undertake the position on December 1.

CEC’s Secure Facilities Division now consists of eighteen jail and detention facilities with a combined capacity of approximately 9,000 male and female beds. Offenders are referred by local, county, state, and federal jurisdictions, including the U.S. Marshals Service, the Federal Bureau of Prisons, and the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
