I have worked at the George W. Hill Correctional Facility (GWHCF) for nearly seven years and enjoy the opportunity to work with offenders on a daily basis. In my position as Correctional Officer, I get to instruct offenders on right and wrong behaviors and have a chance to steer them in the right direction. I think it is important to help offenders develop a better work ethic, to teach them goals and values and how to be team players.
CEC has a positive mission and provides a great atmosphere to work in with other qualified and competent individuals. The training academy provided at GWHCF provides all our staff with the skills and knowledge necessary to perform our jobs at the highest level of quality.
