Community Education Centers, Inc. The contributions and premiums for medical, dental, and vision care are on a tax favored basis.
Medical
Having access to high quality, affordable health care is a great concern for most people. That's why CEC is pleased to offer you and your family a Preferred Provider Organization (PPO) plan. Our plan includes a variety of services in addition to office visits, preventive care, prescription drugs, and hospitalization.
Dental
Having healthy teeth is an important part of your overall well-being. Our plan offers preventive services, routine dental checkups as well as other major services.
Vision
Your eyesight is an integral part of your overall health and a key component to safety. Good vision care is essential, that is why we offer a voluntary Vision program for you and your dependents. The plan covers eye exams, eyeglasses and contact lenses. In addition, the program includes out-of-network benefits as well as discounts after you have used your primary benefits, including discounts on lasik vision correction.
Flexible Spending Account (FSA)
CEC employees have the opportunity to enroll in the Health Care Flexible Spending Account. The Flexible Spending Account (FSA) allows you to reimburse yourself with tax free dollars for certain eligible health care expenses as determined by IRS regulations.
Disability
When you are unable to work - even for a short period of time - your financial situation can become difficult very quickly. That's why having disability insurance is so important. Our disability plans are designed to help protect your financial security by providing replacement income if you are ever disabled due to a non-work related injury or illness. The plan provides income replacement of 60% of your earnings for a period of up to 13 weeks.
Basic Life Insurance
CEC provides employees with Basic Life free of charge. Basic Life Insurance provides a benefit to your beneficiary in the event of your death.
Basic Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D;) Insurance
Basic AD&D; Insurance provides a benefit to your beneficiary in the event of your death because of an accidental injury. It can also provide a benefit to you if you lose your sight or limb as a result of a covered accident. This coverage is Company paid.
Supplemental Life Insurance
If your basic life insurance is not enough to meet the needs of your family in the event of your death, you may purchase supplemental life insurance. You may also elect supplemental life insurance for your spouse and/or child(ren).
Retirement
Building a strong financial foundation for your future is an ongoing process. The CEC 401(k) Retirement Plan is designed to help you save for retirement by offering you tax advantages as well as the convenience of payroll deductions. You have the flexibility of deciding where current and future money will be invested. Our 401(k) plan offers a diversified portfolio with various investment options ranging from conservative to most aggressive.

Legal Services:
Legal expenses can place a heavy financial burden on you and your family. When you enroll in the voluntary legal plan, you have access to carefully selected law firms ready to assist you with services covered by the plan.
Business Travel Accident Insurance:
When you travel on authorized company-related business, you are covered by business accident insurance. This protection is in addition to your Basic Life and AD&D; coverage and is Company paid.
Employee Assistance Program (EAP):
CEC realizes that life can be stressful. Life isn't always easy, and it doesn't always work out the way we planned. The program provides professional, confidential assistance to you for problems which may arise that may affect your physical or emotional well being.
