Training Opportunities
Overview
CEC trains its staff to become highly competent professionals in counseling, resident/offender management, corrections industry standards, and to conceptualize and assist persons in the context of their professional development, educational and organizational settings, communities, and environments. CEC also maintains a training facility at its New Jersey corporate headquarters that provides training services for new employees of the company's New Jersey and Pennsylvania residential reentry facilities.
CEC's training philosophy is based on the principles and strategies reflected in our respective professional accrediting bodies and treatment models (e.g., American Corrections Association (ACA); Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT); Therapeutic Community Model; Certified Alcohol Dependency Certification (CADC); and Texas Commission on Law Enforcement Correction Officer Certification (TECLOSE). The company provides quality training programs to our staff and affords them the opportunities to develop professionally and gain the skills necessary to conduct their daily assigned duties. |
