Visitors who arrive after 3 p.m. will not be admitted. Visits may be terminated earlier than 3:30 p.m. depending on the number of inmates who received visits. When this becomes necessary, visits will be terminated in the order of arrival.

HISTORY

CEC was contracted in May 2004 to provide Outpatient Alcohol and Other Drug (AOD) Programs to offenders incarcerated at SCI-Albion.

CEC provides quality treatment services utilizing evidence-based treatment curriculum at this facility.
SERVICES

CEC staff provide reentry treatment services inside this Pennsylvania Department of Corrections facility.

CEC provides parole violator outpatient AOD groups, individual AOD sessions as required, and violence prevention groups.

In the Outpatient Programs, inmates learn about the impact of drug and alcohol abuse on their lives and are introduced to strategies for living addiction free.

Based upon program severity, inmates are placed in a variety of treatment programs, geared towards their specific AOD problems.

CEC provides Outpatient Drug and Alcohol groups (for those scoring 3-5 on the Texas Christian University Drug Screen), Low Intensity Drug and Alcohol groups (for those scoring 0, 1 and 2 on the TCU Drug Screen) and Dual Diagnosis groups (in conjunction with a member of the DOC Psychology staff)

CEC provides parole violator outpatient AOD groups, individual AOD sessions as required, and violence prevention groups.

CEC also conducts parole violator assessments to determine treatment placement when required by the DOC.
