VISITATION SCHEDULE

General Population Saturday, Sunday and Federal Holidays: 7:00 am - 3:00 pm

Segregation Unit Saturday, Sunday and Federal Holidays: 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm                                                                            

HISTORY

• Limestone County Detention Center opened in 1989, to safely and securely house contract offenders from several different agencies.
• The facility holds 1035 male offenders.
• As a member of CEC's Secure Division, Limestone County Detention Center, promotes CEC's successful philosophies to reduce the recidivism rate in the United States.

SERVICES

• CEC provides jail/detention management services at the Limestone County Detention Center.
• Transportation services are provided.
• CEC provides full services for medical, dental, and vision care.
• Offenders can volunteer in grounds keeping, maintenance support, and food services.
• Programs include English as a Second Language, GED training, horticulture, culinary arts, parenting classses, and hobby crafts.
• Chaplain services and other volunteer religious services are offered.
• CEC provides a law library and regular library for offenders at the Limestone County Detention Center.
