Washington, Dec 8, 2005 - Community Educations Centers (CEC), Inc. is proud to announce the appointment of Dr. Robert Mackey, Chief of Clinical Operations, to the New Jersey Governor’s Gang Land Security Task Force.

“Dr. Mackey’s extensive experience will benefit this important task force aimed at reducing the costly effects of gangs in New Jersey,” said John Clancy, President and CEO of CEC.

Dr. Mackey has over thirty years of experience providing therapeutic treatment services to adult and juvenile offenders in public and private sectors. He has designed and implemented secure residential programs as well as intensive outpatient services for diverse populations, including substance abusers, domestic violence offenders, and those with various criminogenic risk/needs.

To counteract the rising influence of gangs in New Jersey, the task force will study the effectiveness of intelligence gathering methods and the conditions that foster gangs.
