CEC Launches Employee Access System
Roseland, NJ, Feb 7, 2007 - Community Education has streamlined its internal information sharing capabilities with the launch of the Employee Access System (EAS). Representing another technological advancement for CEC, the EAS launch focuses on organizational effectiveness and builds off the recent launch of the online job posting system on the company web site.
"We are creating a Human Resource strategy that serves the business," said Bob Franco, Director, Human Resources and Training. "We want to set up consistent and credible systems that help our leaders achieve immediate performance objectives as well as building the platforms for long-term growth."
The EAS will warehouse CEC standard corporate policies, forms and other content such as training materials. Facility management will now have access to this information in the most efficient way possible. The addition of the EAS system, closely follows another technological service enhancement for CEC.
In June of 2006, CEC entered into an agreement with Cirqular Inc. to implement CorTrac™, a web-based resident tracking system, corporate-wide. CorTrac™ collects and organizes information such as demographics, recidivism statistics, assessment information, criminal history, medical and psycho-social history, and educational and employment history for use in a wide array of applications.
Community Education Centers is a leading provider of rehabilitative and reentry services to the criminal justice system in America. CEC's facilities provide a full range of therapeutic residential and non-residential correctional services with an empirically documented record of reducing recidivism. The company operates 17 residential facilities and five day reporting/outpatient programs in seven states, treating over 6,000 clients daily.
