CEC Awarded Contract to Operate Texas Jail

Roseland, NJ, Aug 28, 2007 - Community Education Centers, Inc. (CEC) was awarded a contract to operate the 166-bed Parker County Jail in Weatherford, Texas. Under the terms of the contract, CEC is currently expanding the facility to 446-beds to meet the needs of Parker County.

"I appreciate the confidence Parker County has shown in our company and look forward to providing quality detention services that meet the needs of the County," said John J. Clancy, Chairman and CEO of CEC.

The five-year contract to operate the Parker County Jail will begin on October 1, 2007. CEC's National Secure Facilities Division now operates 15 jail/detention management contracts in four states-Texas, Ohio, Arizona, and Montana.
