CEC Applauds as U.S. Senate Passes Second Chance Act
West Caldwell, NJ, Mar 12, 2008 - Community Education Centers, Inc. supports the recent passing of the Second Chance Act by the U.S. Senate. The Second Chance Act was designed to provide federal support for the successful reentry of offenders and will be instrumental in reducing recidivism across America.
"As the bill makes its way to the President's desk for signature, CEC applauds the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives for the approval of this important bill. At CEC we know all about second chances. At the core of our reentry model is the belief that people can turn their lives around and become productive members of society," said John J. CEC provides services in 22 states that are focused on helping individuals in the criminal justice system reenter society.
