John Duke Butler Joins CEC as Director of Federal Relations

West Caldwell, NJ, Apr 4 - John Duke Butler joined CEC after a 32 year distinguished career in federal law enforcement . Prior to joining CEC Butler served 13 years as Chief Deputy United States Marshal in the Western District of Texas. Previous positions with the United States Marshals Service (USMS) included assignment as Division Chief of the newly formed Air Operations Division based in Oklahoma City (1990-1995), as well as Chief Deputy Marshal in the District of Minnesota. He is an active member of the FBI's National Academy Associates (128th session).

Butler is also recognized with many awards and honors, including the USMS Director's Distinguished Service Award and the United States Attorney General's Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) Award-2005. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Public Administration- Law Enforcement from the University of Arizona and has completed additional educational/executive development courses; the most recent at the Law Enforcement Management Institute of Texas (LEMIT) at Sam Houston State University.
