Liberty Hall Recommended for ACA Re-Accreditation, Scores 100%

West Caldwell, NJ, May 20 - Liberty Hall, Community Education Centers' 300-bed residential reentry center in Indianapolis, Indiana, was recommended for American Correctional Association (ACA) re-accreditation, after a two day audit on May 18-19. The facility scored a perfect 100% on all mandatory and non-mandatory standards. During the two-day audit, committee members reviewed the standards based on written documentation, observations, and interviews with staff and residents at each facility.

"I'm proud of CEC's accomplishments. We will continue to strive to meet and exceed the national standards set by ACA. I'd like to express my gratitude to all those who helped us reach our accreditation goals," said Tina Price, Accreditation Manager.

American Correctional Association Standards (ACA) are nationally recognized as a benchmark of excellence for correctional facilities in the United States. Unprecedented throughout the industry, CEC maintains an outstanding accreditation record with our facilities scoring an average of 99.9% ratings on all non-mandatory standards, with 16 out of 18 facilities scoring a perfect 100% rating. CEC centers illustrate the company's commitment to a safe environment for both residents and personnel.

Liberty Hall is a residential reentry center that provides reentry treatment services to female offenders from Marion County, Indiana. Liberty Hall recognizes that female offenders have different treatment and reentry needs and provides services such as sexual abuse and domestic violence treatment, trauma and single parenthood education, substance abuse treatment, all-female Women's Issues groups, and family services.

The American Correctional Association requires agencies to undergo re-accreditation every three years. During the three-year accreditation period, the agency submits an annual certification statement that is due on the anniversary of the accreditation date. It contains information on current standards compliance levels, significant events and/or major staffing changes; physical plant renovations and other information related to ACA standards.
