American Correctional Association Standards (ACA) are nationally recognized as a benchmark of excellence for correctional facilities in the United States. Unprecedented throughout the industry, CEC maintains an outstanding accreditation record with our facilities scoring an average of 99.9% ratings on all non-mandatory standards, with 16 out of 18 facilities scoring a perfect 100% rating. CEC centers illustrate the company's commitment to a safe environment for both residents and personnel.
The American Correctional Association requires agencies to undergo re-accreditation every three years. During the three-year accreditation period, the agency submits an annual certification statement that is due on the anniversary of the accreditation date. It contains information on current standards compliance levels, significant events and/or major staffing changes; physical plant renovations and other information related to ACA standards.
