Community Education Centers, Inc. Welcomes David N.T. Watson as New Chief Financial Officer
West Caldwell, NJ, Aug 14 - Community Education Centers, Inc. (CEC) announced the appointment of David N. T. Watson as the Company's Chief Financial Officer effective September 14, 2009. As Chief Financial Officer, Mr. Watson will have overall responsibility for the financial activities of Community Education Centers, Inc., reporting to the Chairman/CEO.
Mr. Watson has over thirteen years experience in the corrections industry and brings a wealth of experience in leading debt and equity transactions, including project financing for business development as well as extensive experience in acquisitions and an Initial Public Offering. Prior to joining CEC, Mr. Watson served as the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Radiation Therapy Services, Inc., a leading developer and operator of 95 hospital-based radiation therapy centers. Mr. Watson joined Radiation Therapy Services, Inc. in 2007, after thirteen years with the Geo Group, Inc., a leading provider of outsourced government services, where he served, amongst other roles, as Treasurer and Vice President. While at the Geo Group, Inc., Mr. Watson played an instrumental role in the Company's financial transactions including the acquisitions of Centracore Properties Trust and Correctional Services Corporation. Prior to joining the Geo Group, Inc., Mr. Watson spent five years as a Manager of Audit and Advisory Services at Arthur Anderson.

Mr. Watson is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and also holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Rutgers University and earned his bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Virginia. He will work with Senior Management in developing and implementing the Company's strategic growth plan.
