Logan Hall Employee Awarded New Jersey State Parole Board Annual Partnership Award

West Caldwell, NJ, Sep 1 - Terry Stockholm, Deputy Director of Treatment at Logan Hall, CEC's 600-bed residential reentry center in Newark, New Jersey, was awarded the Annual Partnership Award from the New Jersey State Parole Board (NJSPB). Mr. Stockholm was selected to receive this award as he demonstrated a commitment to the values and objectives of the NJSPB, and a willingness to partner with NJSPB in coordinating reentry treatment services. An awards ceremony will be held on Wednesday, September 16, 2009 at Mastoris Restaurant on Route 130 in Bordentown, New Jersey from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm.

"I would like to congratulate Terry on a much deserved award. His efforts to coordinate reentry treatment services for New Jersey's parolees have provided countless individuals with the tools they need to lead productive lives," said Dr. Robert Mackey, Senior Vice President at CEC.

Terry Stockholm has over 30 years experience providing drug and alcohol treatment services to both the private sector and criminal offender populations. For the past five years, he has worked as Deputy Director of Treatment at Delaney Hall and Logan Hall with the past four years being at the Logan Hall Work Release Program. Previously, he worked 15 years in the Pennsylvania State Government in several different capacities.

Terry is a thirteen year veteran of the Pennsylvania Department of Corrections (PA DOC) where he held several positions including Drug and Alcohol Treatment Supervisor. During his tenure at the PA DOC, he developed and implemented basic drug and alcohol education programs that included alcohol and other drugs education, relapse prevention, dual diagnosis, cocaine group and drug dealing groups. He also worked with the Drug and Alcohol Program Manager in the SCI Central Office to develop a standardized drug and alcohol treatment curriculum for the entire Pennsylvania Department of Corrections.
