Long Beach Community Corrections Center Featured in Los Angeles NBC Affiliate Segments

West Caldwell, NJ April 9 -
The Long Beach Community Corrections Center, CEC's 112-bed residential reentry facility for the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation, was profiled by a NBC affiliate station in Los Angeles this weekend. The segments examine the importance of reentry treatment services for offenders and focus on the innovative family services program that links residents with their families in an attempt to restore family bonds.

Dr. Louis Barretti, CEC Family Services Program Director, notes, "By providing treatment for the entire family, CEC's national family services program helps all members of the family system cope with the experience of incarceration and maintain family connections that increase an offender's likelihood of success upon release. I am very proud of all our staff at Long Beach who provide an excellent level of service."
