In-Prison Treatment Program Commences in Greene County, Illinois
West Caldwell, NJ October 11 - CEC welcomes the Impact Incarceration Program (IIP), which joins the company’s In-Prison Treatment division to become the seventh program in Illinois. Treatment services began in October and are provided to 200 males at the Green County IIP.
“We are excited for the opportunity to expand our services in Illinois through the addition of the Greene County IIP program,” said Emily Bond, Deputy Director of the Western Region. “We have a great working relationship with the Illinois Department of Corrections and this expansion of services reinforces the confidence we share in this partnership.”
Ms. Brittany Bradshaw, CEC Program Director for the Jacksonville Correctional Center will also be the Program Director for the new program that will be located in Roodhouse, Illinois. Successful completion of the program is on based on an average of 120-180 active days in the program and the average age range for participants is 17-25.
Consistent with CEC’s treatment approach of changing cognitive thinking patterns, the Impact Incarceration Program focuses on changing negative and criminal thoughts and actions into positive behaviors and responses. The program’s goal is to change offender’s attitudes, deter negative behaviors, instill a positive work ethic and create productive members of society.
