| After a history of maladaptive behaviors starting at age 14 due to alcohol and drug use, I had the privilege to participate in a CEC residential reentry center program. I am now living a positive lifestyle and am a responsible member of society. I was given the tools to live a drug and crime free lifestyle.
The Alumni Association provides me an opportunity to give back to others. We offer resources and support services to assist graduates of CEC programs so that they may successfully reenter the community as productive members of society. |

| Everyone deserves a chance. Some of us lived rough lives and didn't have tools. If we just got out of prison without substance therapy, the moms and kids at home wouldn't want that same dad back.
My kids tell me now that they are so proud of me. Do you know what that's like for me, with the place I was before, to the place I am now?. |

I have maintained a positive lifestyle since my graduation of a CEC program. It has been a blessing for me. I got the best of what CEC had to give me - it matters how you use the time there. I love the slogans - the hallways with the signs were illuminating to me.

| The Therapeutic Community program has a lot to offer each individual. Through months of intensive treatment, there's a sense of accomplishment. It gives you the chance to build trust back with people and your family. It helps you understand the need to get back into society and build bonds with society.
What would I tell others? To not give up on themselves. Find something good and work on it. |

| Since my experience at Delaney Hall I have been clean ever since. I am so grateful to have achieved so much since then. I am a supportive mom for my children and live an active and productive life. My life is now and has been for the past seven years a real journey - one that has my heart filled with lots of joy and constant affirmed happiness. Especially when someone sees me and tells me that I helped them through the Alumni forum. WOW!!! |

| My experience at Casper Re-Entry Center's Therapeutic Community made me realize who I was. It makes you really think that no matter what, you can turn your life around.
My attitude and the things I do are different now. I help people now. I mentor the guys here, and try to show them that they can change. |
